Winter Solstice
I know it’s the exact opposite of winter, but this tea doesn’t have to be had in the winter times. It’s quite good anytime, though especially with a darker, drearier day. It feels good with rainy weather.
The tea itself is a black tea with jasmine blossoms. It’s pleasant, soothing, warm and hearty. A simple tea, it’s deep and tastes better than it smells.
With added sugar, the jasmine flavour is enhanced. With milk, the flavour is mellowed and smoothed.
In any weather and any circumstance this tea is a winner.
It does become a bit dry when it is iced.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunrise of the beginning of a new season – whether it’s summer, fall, winter or spring.
Ciao for now!
